Blueprint IA is committed to enhancing the Tallahassee-Leon County community by integrating history and the arts into its infrastructure projects. As the Public Information Officer under the Marketing Manager, I played a pivotal role in shaping and communicating the agency's mission and projects. My responsibilities included creating, drafting, and producing diverse content such as social media posts, video content, radio ads, and newsletters. I handled photography, ensuring the website remained current, and hosted and shared community events to foster engagement.

Additionally, I responded to public inquiries about various projects and created presentations for executives, commissioners, and project managers. Blueprint IA's approach of incorporating art and culture into infrastructure projects has significantly contributed to preserving local identity, fostering community pride, and driving tourism and economic prosperity. The agency, funded by a local government one-cent sales surtax endorsed by voters, aims to efficiently execute transformative projects that enhance the community through coordinated planning and construction of transportation, utilities, stormwater management, parks, greenways, and economic development programs.

By effectively communicating Blueprint IA's vision and initiatives, I helped build a stronger connection between the agency and the community, showcasing the substantial return on investment that infrastructure, public art and historical sites bring in terms of tourism, economic growth, and community pride.

 A key project highlight was collaborating with other web designers to develop the Artful Infrastructure website, which showcases the importance of art in the community and how Blueprint's infrastructure initiatives go above and beyond traditional approaches. This site highlights the agency's commitment to incorporating art and culture into the environment, significantly contributing to preserving local identity, fostering community pride, and driving tourism and economic prosperity. I also worked with the same professionals to build out a story map that guides users along the history and culture trail virtually, providing in-depth information and enriching the user experience.  

 I led the production of the BPIA Annual Report, collaborating with a team of designers and working diligently with my internal team to ensure 100% accuracy. By providing a detailed review of significant projects and program accomplishments, the report served as a comprehensive tool to showcase Blueprint IA's impact on the Tallahassee-Leon County community.

Internally, the report served as a valuable resource for stakeholders, executives, and community members, offering insights into the agency's progress and highlighting the successful execution of strategic initiatives. It helped align team members around shared goals, fostering a sense of pride and accomplishment among employees.

Externally, the report enhanced transparency and accountability by communicating the agency's commitments and achievements to the broader community. It strengthened trust with residents, businesses, and local stakeholders by demonstrating how Blueprint IA's initiatives were positively influencing infrastructure development, environmental sustainability, and economic growth within the region.

Overall, the BPIA Annual Report not only highlighted past successes but also set the stage for future planning and community engagement, reinforcing Blueprint IA's role as a leader in transformative infrastructure projects and its commitment to enhancing the quality of life for Tallahassee-Leon County residents.

During my tenure at Blueprint IA, I significantly enhanced the organization's brand visibility and engagement. I achieved an impressive 16% average increase in engagement and boosted our social media followers by 90% across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Utilizing tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and Hootsuite, I meticulously analyzed data to generate monthly marketing reports and optimize our content strategies. Crafting compelling and resonant content was a key focus, ensuring that each initiative maximized impact and resonated with our diverse audience. My strategic approach not only amplified our brand presence but also fostered meaningful connections within the community, solidifying Blueprint IA's reputation as a leader in infrastructure innovation and community engagement.

 I assisted in the production and writing of a video about the Capital Cascades Trail, collaborating closely with my internal team and a local videographer. The Capital Cascades Trail is a vital infrastructure project located in the heart of Tallahassee-Leon County, providing essential connectivity from Downtown to the Southside. Through this video, we aimed to highlight the trail's significance in promoting environmental sustainability, community connectivity, and recreational enjoyment.

 I had the opportunity to design and create custom visuals for 10 project construction billboards, each uniquely tailored to inform and engage the public about ongoing construction projects. These billboards served a crucial role in communicating project details and milestones to the community, both before and during construction phases.

Each billboard was meticulously crafted to capture the essence of the project it represented while adhering to branding guidelines and ensuring clarity of information. Through strategic graphic design, typography, and visual elements, I aimed to not only inform but also captivate and educate the public about the significance and impact of these construction endeavors.

These billboards played a vital role in fostering transparency and community engagement, keeping stakeholders informed and involved throughout the construction process. By effectively communicating project updates and milestones, the billboards contributed to building trust and understanding among residents, businesses, and other stakeholders affected by the projects and recreational enjoyment.
